Green Lake Greenways, a non profit organization founded in 2008, began assisting the City of Green Lake with grant writing. Since then, Greenways has been successful in obtaining the necessary funding to create the first section of the Highway 23 multi-use path, connecting walkers and riders to and from the city.
Future projects:
*A paved multi-use path between the cities of Ripon and Green Lake.
*Mascouting Valley State Trail Revitalization
*The trail project has been ongoing since 2009
(see our project page.) There are still two sections to complete. Funds are needed for additional gravel, grading and maintenance.
